Spectac International’s Full Turnkey Brewing System
First brewery to open in Dundalk since the closure of DIAGEO in 2013
Spectac International recently completed a project with Dundalk Bay Brewery, one of Ireland’s largest craft breweries and the only commercial brewery of its kind in the country.
The project reignites the brewing industry in Dundalk since the close of Diagoe’s Great Northern Brewery (Harp). The 6-month project involved completion of a 45-50HL Brewery with full automation for all brewing processes and designed a system with the ability to work for all contract brewing needs.
Spectac have completed similar projects to Dundalk Bay Brewery, including the recent completion of the Pearse Lyons Distillery in the Liberties, Dublin. This project also required Spectac to provide a full turnkey brewing system and create a fully automated complete distillery solution.
The Dundalk Bay Brewery required Spectac International’s experience team to manage all electrical, automation and civils, along with the manufacturing and process pipework, PNID’s and the design and calculations were completed by Spectac International’s engineering team.
This project adds to the long list of successfully completed projects Spectac International has completed over the years in Ireland and Europe. Spectac have also been involved in other major projects similar to Dundalk Bay Brewery, such as Tullamore Dew and Teeling Whiskey.
